Data & Drafts: Equity in Criminal Prosecutions

Building off prior research by the Polis Center on the Marion County Jail system and “cradle-to-prison” pipeline, this presentation examines disparities in criminal prosecutions in Marion County based on race, ethnicity, and sex of those charged with criminal offenses. Doors will open at 6:00 and the discussion will begin promptly at 6:15. Parking is available in the Library’s underground parking garage, which can be accessed via Pennsylvania St.
