For citing content from SAVI, including text, maps, graphs, charts, tables, and photographs, we ask that the following citation be used.

- CITATION: <authors, if applicable>, <name of report, if applicable>, The Polis Center at IU Indianapolis, SAVI Community Information System, www.savi.org, <date of report, if applicable> otherwise, the date when the SAVI content was accessed>.
Peferably, the image citations would be placed immediately below the image. Alternatively, a marker such as “Image 1.” or “Figure 1.” could be placed under the image and the full citation information, with the corresponding image number, would be included on the References slide. If all or most of the images are from the same source, you can include a statement at the start or end of the slides that says something to the effect of “Unless otherwise noted, all images in this file are from [CITATION].
