The Drug Free Marion County initiative contacted SAVI to provide updated data and maps for alcohol and drug-related juvenile crimes in Marion County that highlight the areas with the highest concentrations of those crimes.
Using SAVI’s maps, the initiative was able to pinpoint areas in Marion County where alcohol and other drugs are problematic and target prevention efforts to communities at the greatest risk for those crimes. The initiative also used the maps as a tool to measure the impact of their efforts and assists in educational outreach to schools, community associations, neighborhood groups, and other key constituencies.
