The March 26 Indianapolis Recorder newspaper interviewed Matt N for its article “2020 Census: Uncounted children leads to fewer resources.” The article reminds residents to complete the census and the importance of doing so on many levels, particularly how undercounting children impacts support for a number of important services including health insurance, hospital extended funds, and child care food assistance. Matt referenced the importance of census data and the School Insights web application that Polis developed for politicians and other decision-makers to help determine where schools should be located.
