Initiated by IUPUI Professor of Nursing Kathy Russell, the Mammography Outreach and Community Health Awareness project asked SAVI to create a map to identify which census tracts in Marion County are medically underserved.
The project’s goal was to target those medically underserved areas and create intervention programs to increase mammography screenings for low-income African American Women.
