Pew publishes estimates of the undocumented immigrant population. They calculate these estimates by assuming that the undocumented population is equal to the foreign born population minus the documented immigrant population. They make adjustments to account for the fact that undocumented immigrants are slightly less likely to respond to the American Community Survey.
