Eric Berman, chief political correspondent/statehouse bureau chief, WIBC-FM/Network Indiana, interviewed Matt Nowlin, research analyst, in June following the SAVI Talks event where he highlighted the neighborhood changes in Indianapolis since the 70s. During this interview, Nowlin highlights the rush of younger, higher-income, and better educated residents to the city center today, but this isn’t enough to offset the similar rush of residents described during SAVI Talks and also the community trends report. For example, college-educated residents have increased five-fold since the early 2000s. What could these changes mean for the future?
