Polis is participating in the November 15 Indiana GIS Day, sponsored by the Indiana Geographic Information Office, in several capacities including a session presentation and a booth promoting SAVI, data literacy training, our various SAVI services, and its impact. Danielle Lefever, Kevin Mickey, and Matt Dietrich will present a session, Using Geospatial Techniques to Assess Equity and Help Empower Communities. Other staff minding a booth in the vendor area include Jay Colbert, Allegra East, and Marc McAleavey. The purpose of the event is to help others learn about real word applications of GIS, share accomplishments, and inspire others to use GIS.
